Edward " Hobie"Baker
Baker graduated in 1973 And
earned three letters in football,
two in track and one in baseball.
Baker still holds nine Louisville
single season football records.
Bob Boldon
Boldon is a 1993 graduate, earning three
letters in basketball and two in baseball.
Boldon was the 1993 Northeastern
Buckeye Conference District IV Players
of the year in basketball. Boldon was
also selected twice as a Northeastern
Buckeye Conference all-star and
selected once as a District IV all-star in
basketball.
Joe Callan
Joe was a 1975 graduate,
earned two letters in football,
basketball and track. Joe also
earned one letter in baseball.
Callan is a member of the 1970s
Federal League football team of
the decade.Joealso earned
several other football honors in
1974, including first-team All-
Federal League, all- county and
all-district.
Ginger Kroft Barnetson
Barnetson, a 1991 graduate,was
a three-time state qualifier and a
two- time district champion in
swimming. Barnetson was
named a high school All-
American swimmer in the 50
freestyle and was named the
1991 female swimmer of the
Year by the Greater Canton
Aquatic Association.
Kelli Metzger
Metzger graduated in1995 and
was the first Division I softball
scholarship winner from
Louisville. Metzger was a four-
year starter on the softball team
and went on to become a four-
time Mid-American Conference
first team softball selection at
the University of Akron.
Paul "Butch" Metzger
Paul Metzger graduated in 1948
and won four letters in basketball
and baseball at Louisville.
Metzger also earned three letters
in football. Metzger, selected to
The Repository All-County
football team, also was a two-
time Tri-County League all-star
in football and basketball.
Metzger played Class A baseball
and once signed a professional
contract with the Cleveland
Indians.
Dale Minor
Minor graduated in 1964 and was a
football and basketball Tri- County All-
Star. Minor played on the 1962 and
1963 Louisville Tri-County Football
League championship teams. Minor
also set county records in the high
and low hurdles at Louisville. Minor
was a four-year letterman in football
at the University of Southwestern
Oklahoma.
